Welcome
I started this blog after moving to northern New Mexico from coastal North Carolina. Feeling the loss of my creative community, I started posting work in progress, images and writing as a way to push myself forward and connect with other writers and painters. That happened, I am grateful to say, and the blog evolved.
For many months I offered an original narrative image as a weekly prompt for writers. The Storybook Collaborative pages document the collaborations.
Family, work obligations and the birth of our daughter pushed the blog aside. Big time. Maybe when I'm old and grey and if I continue to evade capture I will get back to it. I dunno. Evading capture continues to take a lot of energy.
I am not posting new prompts now but all are still welcome to use the images for non-commercial purposes. Please give credit and link back (in comments) so others can see what you are up to.
I'll be delighted if you leave a comment and come back for more.
Troy’s execution at the hands of the state, is an example of extreme violence. My heart still cries and I am glad that you posted this. I wore black that day when people in Cambridge were more upset about the death of Steve Jobs and knew little of the State Terrorism against Troy.
Fascism is growing exponentially.
Thanks Nina. Hope to see you next time you visit New Mexico. I’ll look forward to getting together with Maxine in SF.
