This site is a work in progress, a place to post my work and reflections and, on the Storybook Collaborative page, to post the work of others using the images collaboratively.
Although much of my painting could be called narrative, I don't always take the time to find the stories. So it is a pleasure to see them used as writing prompts, and to link to the stories, poetry and myths others find in the paintings.
The PAGES column below contains links to my writing, to the Collaborative Storybook and a sampling of Favorites, to my Artist Website, and to my New Mexico Storyboards blog.
I am not presently posting weekly image prompts. I am returning to this blog after a long hiatus and I am enjoying just watching it evolve.
As always, all are welcome here, and any who wish to do so may use the images in their own non-commercial work. Just please give credit and link back so others can visit and see what you do.
I'll be delighted if you leave a comment and come back for more. If you'd like to stay up to date, you can subscribe to my RSS feed by clicking on the orange icon below.
Goodness, she’s Naomi’s double in this photo! And beautiful, just looks at those eyes and eyebrows and her pretty chin!
Wowiieee! Amazing! That’s a beautiful kid-Mozart!
Rick, she’s gorgeous.
Happy New Year!
Can’t believe she’s half an year old already! Such an adorable sweetheart.
Rick – she is lovely, full of life! She might be a prettier and younger version of that goofy blonde pianist on Lawrence Welk shows, some 4o years ago- the one who looked pleased to be banging away on the piano. G
Oh my gosh, has it been six months? How can that be? It was only a moment.
She’s so beautiful. Look at those eyes.
Yes, her Mommy comes to mind with that pretty face, but so does her Daddy. Perhaps you need to record her virtuoso piano concerto, and post an mp3 for our wonder and perusal. It is amazing how long ago Halloween slipped by, and in another short time she will be potty trained, walking, talking, and soon after flipping lip. Take a lot of photos, for Daddy’s little girl has got up some volition, and it’s world look out, for Ada is on the move!

A sweet babe! Eyelashes galore, and a very pleased look on her face. I see a whole month has passed, she must be playing Chopin by now. Hope all is well with you and your gorgeous crew.
Jo, I imagine you and Christine are up to your eyeballs with next issue of Ourorobos. I have a few days off now so I’ll be checking in.
Sumedh, your work is stark, beautiful, amazing. I’m glad you left a comment. I’m looking forward to exploring your pages.
Michelle, thanks for the note. How are things with you in South Africa?
Danyantig, work has taken me away but I’ve been missing all of you. These jobs don’t last forever. I look forward to catching up.
Suburbanlife, I hope you are having an easy winter up there…
amuirin, wow, how could I forget about you?
Hey Glenn, we have some catching up to do.
Christine, thanks for taking the time to drop by. You know this crazy gypsy movie life. Can’t wait to see what you are up to.
Enigma, I have to write you…
Beautiful pictures, Rick, of your beautiful family! Time flies! Love the updates….
PS Everybody mentioned Ada, who is indeed lovely, but Broadus is smashing! What a handsome kid!
