Wow.
I love how her headpiece looks like a dragon. Is the figure in the center two or one?
Oh your painting, oh it is, oh, oh, it just got me wham…….the colours, so beautiful, the figures and that dragon (sorry I’m not equipped with the right vocab to crit paintings, they just either grab me by the throat in one second flat or they don’t and this one so did). Beautiful, Rick, truly beautiful.
I saw this last night, and all I could think of to say was, “Oh, how beautiful.” Saw it again tonight, and um…same thing. I love this.
Hey amuirin! I have an eight year old son who has significant input into the projects. It’s a dragon. Tell me what you would describe as the central figure and I’ll get back to you.
jo, you have all the vocab you need. I’m allergic to artspeak.
and moonbeam, I sincerely thank you. I think I’ve said somewhere else that I wasn’t able to see the beauty until it was pointed out. I happens that way sometimes.
Oh this is beautiful. Everything flows smoothly together from one point to another. The colors are wonderful.
thanks angelica. nice to see you again.
[...] made me to. (Aw, shut it, this isn’t the grammar awards.) K, Rick has a way with words, but his paintings will melt your face… y’know.. in a good [...]
Such an incredible image. I live in Los Angeles, write and teach poetry with incarcerated youth. I was looking for the perfect image to use on an invitation to a reading at a delightful little Boyle Hearts wine bar called East Side Luv. With your permission and credit. Thank you so much for unlocking my memory of love…
Abel, I sent you an email. Please, feel free.
